Program serves people who have disabilities that present a substantial impediment to employment. Services are provided to individuals to prepare for, secure, retain, or regain employment. If you’re an eligible candidate for their services, it may include driving assessment and training as part of your plan.

Senior Drivers

CarFit

There’s a lot more to safe driving than how you drive. Having the proper fit inside your vehicle can make a big difference and help protect you and those around you. With CarFit, an educational program developed by AAA, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association, you’ll get information and resources on how you can enhance your safety in the driver’s seat.

Mature Driver Improvement Courses

There are PennDOT-approved courses that focus on the safety needs of mature drivers, educating them about the impact of aging on driving abilities and offering insights into navigating contemporary roadways. Pennsylvania drivers aged 55 and above may qualify for a 5% insurance discount upon completing one of the courses.
